WWE Crown Jewel marks the beginning of a new tradition for the professional wrestling organization. The Raw and SmackDown World Champions will meet to crown the inaugural Crown Jewel Champions in the men’s and women’s divisions.

WWE returns to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the sixth Crown Jewel pay-per-view event on November 2nd. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque unveiled the new Crown Jewel belts on October 5th at Bad Blood.

Levesque unveiled two annual games at Crown Jewel. Raw’s World Heavyweight Champion and Women’s World Champion will face SmackDown’s undisputed WWE Champion and WWE Women’s Champion, respectively. The winners will be crowned Crown Jewel Champions.

Gunther vs. Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan vs. Nia Jax are the two currently scheduled matches unless a title change occurs before the Nov. 2 card at Mohammed Abdo Arena.

Take a look at the confirmed matches for Crown Jewel below and get a crystal ball look at what could be coming. The event will be broadcast live on Peacock on November 2nd starting at 1:00 PM ET on the pay-per-view card.

WWE Crown Jewel Matches 2024

WWE Crown Jewel Championship – Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther: Rhodes and Gunther are expected to headline Crown Jewel. Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 in April to become champion. He most recently defended it against Solo Sikoa in a steel cage match on the September 13 episode of SmackDown. Gunther won the title from Damian Priest at SummerSlam in August and recently defended the title against Sami Zayn on the October 7 episode of Raw. What’s notable is that Rhodes and Gunther both become WWE World Champions for the first time.

WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship – Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan: Jax and Morgan take a break from long-standing rivalries. Jax and Morgan defeated Bayley and Rhea Ripley, respectively, winning the titles at SummerSlam and leaving Bad Blood rematches with their titles intact. Jax won the Queen of the Ring tournament during her last visit to Saudi Arabia, earning her a shot at the SummerSlam title.

Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed: After Reed took out Rollins with a vicious attack for several weeks, it was clear that revenge would be in store for Rollins when he returned. This happened when Rollins attacked Reed and cost him the Last Monster Standing match with Braun Strowman. Since then, Rollins and Reed have demanded a match – and attacked each other several times – leading Adam Pearce to announce the Crown Jewel match.

Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens: Orton demanded a match against Owens after the prizefighter attacked his former tag team partner. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque was initially hesitant to give Orton the match, citing Owens’ brutality and Orton’s age. Orton insisted he wasn’t hot-headed and asked Levesque what he would do if he were Orton. Levesque conceded and scored the game.

United States Championship – LA Knight (c) vs. Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes: Andrade and Hayes should complete their unofficial best-of-seven series. At stake was the chance for the US title. Knight did a poor job as special guest referee, triggering a no-contest after hitting both men with BFTs. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis punished Knight by booking the triple threat title match for Crown Jewel.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships – Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill (c) vs. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven vs. Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) vs. Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane): SmackDown General Manager Aldis and Raw General Manager Pearce met on the October 25 episode of Raw. Authorities announced the fatal four-way tag team title match for Crown Jewel, as well as a traditional fatal four-way with one entrant from each team, on the November 1 episode of SmackDown.
