Is New York preparing for a massive snowstorm that day?

If things continue to pan out the way they are, you’ll need snow gear by mid-November.

A current weather model shows possible snowstorms will form on November 15th and last through the 20th in parts of New York State.

Arctic weather will move in from the Canadian Northwest, bringing plenty of cold temperatures and snow/sleet to the state.

Of course, this is an early weather model and things are subject to change.

We typically get our first measurable snow in mid-November in New York State, with an average date around November 8th.

This would come a little later but could drop a lot more snow than normal.

Now would be the perfect time to make sure you have all your snow gear ready.

Both The Farmer’s Almanac and The Old Farmer’s Almanac are calling for a colder, snowier winter for New York State this year than in previous years.
