Criminal Minds’ Lola Glaudini claims Johnny Depp ‘rammed me in the face’

Criminal minds alum Lola Glaudini has accused former Blow Costar Johnny Depp that he insulted her on the set of the 2001 film.

“Johnny Depp has this monologue that he does back and forth, back and forth, and after a few takes, [director] Ted Demme comes to me and says, ‘Okay, Lola, when Johnny does his monologue, when he says that particular word… I want you to just burst out laughing,'” Glaudini, 52, recalled during a recent episode of “Powerful Truth Angels” podcast. “I’m lying spread-eagled in a bikini and someone gives me a joint and I’m supposed to laugh.”

Glaudini noted that she was following Demme’s instructions as the cameras began rolling before Depp, now 60, broke character.

“When Johnny Depp says cut, he comes to me and comes towards me [and] “Sticks his finger in my face and I’m on the floor in a bikini,” she claimed. “He comes over and says, ‘Who the hell do you think you are?’ Keep your mouth shut. I’m out here fucking trying to say my lines and you’re fucking focused. You fucking idiot. Oh, now it’s not so funny anymore? Now can you keep your mouth shut? Now can you shut the fuck up? The calm you have right now is the way you fucking stay.’”

Glaudini further revealed that Depp’s alleged outburst occurred on her first day of filming Blownoting that she had no previous relationship with him.

“I’ve never met him,” Glaudini said. “That was my first studio film, until then I had only done indies. And I slammed the star I idolized and loved working with in my face. The only thing that went through my mind was, ‘Don’t cry, don’t cry, don’t cry.'”

Glaudini also claimed that Demme, who died in January 2002, did not tell Depp about his message to make her laugh during the monologue.

“I totally hung myself out to dry,” she claimed. “We go back to one and I have to do the rest of the scene, no big scenes, like five [or] six more hours. I don’t know anyone and when we were done the costume coordinator handed me a heated coat and I was like a pariah like no one wanted to talk to me because I’m the bitch he was ranting about.”

Glaudini continued, “I went to my trailer and just held my head… and when I walked in, I was [sobbed]. I held on to it [until then].”

For his part, Depp has denied mistreating Glaudini on set.
