On October 26, NASCAR announced a claims partnership extension for its original division; Whelen Engineering returns to the Modified Tour through 2029. In conjunction with this announcement, NASCAR released the 16-race 2025 Whelen Modified Tour schedule.

The Modified Tour schedule will continue to include NASCAR national series event weekends to highlight the competitive nature of the race. For example, on May 18, the Modifieds will be part of a unique doubleheader supporting the NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Richmond Raceway will host the Modified Tour on August 14 as part of the track’s late-summer NASCAR weekend. Also on the Modified Tour schedule is a race on September 20 during NASCAR playoff weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

On October 18, Martinsville Speedway will once again host the Modified Tour championship race, kicking off a week of camping and fan activities leading into the national series playoff weekend.

Multiple races are held at fan-favorite Modified Tour tracks such as Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (Connecticut), Monadnock Speedway (New Hampshire) and Riverhead Raceway (New York).

“We are proud to once again have a strong mix of track types in the 2025 Whelen Modified Tour program, allowing our drivers to put on an impressive show for fans in multiple markets,” said Jimmy Wilson, senior director of NASCAR Whelen Modified tour. “As can be seen from the quality of racing and the intense championship battle leading up to the end of this year, these events showcase the different strengths of each of our drivers and enable competitive racing from the first race to the finale.”

Thompson will host three high-profile events, starting with the March 30 race as part of the track’s Icebreaker Weekend – now the second race on the Modified Tour schedule. Thompson will also host a mid-summer showdown on Wednesday night on August 6th and the penultimate race of the World Series of Speedway Racing season on October 12th.

Monadnock will host two races, the first on May 3rd and the second on July 19th. There are two races at Riverhead, one on June 14th and the other on September 6th.

Seekonk Speedway (May 31), Lancaster Motorplex (July 12) and Oswego Speedway (August 30) will host Tour races again next season. Additionally, White Mountain Motorsports Park returns to the modified Tour schedule for 2025. Two Tour races have already taken place on the New Hampshire track in 2020.
