Huge Roman Reigns Match Added to WWE Crown Jewel (Spoilers) – TJR Wrestling

Huge Roman Reigns Match Added to WWE Crown Jewel (Spoilers) – TJR Wrestling

The “Original Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns will be in action at WWE Crown Jewel with some well-known tag team partners.

It was a busy WWE SmackDown night in Brooklyn as fans in attendance were able to see two weeks of shows in one night. This is because the November 1st episode of SmackDown was taped a week early due to the Crown Jewel PLE taking place in Saudi Arabia. Instead of hosting a live Smackdown the night before Crown Jewel, WWE opted to tape a week early instead.

The main event of WWE SmackDown in Brooklyn featured Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso in a match that saw The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against Motor City Machine Guns duo Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin.

Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso battled with Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, who were at ringside during the match. They fought to the rear. After being hit by the referee in the match, Jey Uso sought revenge as The Bloodline cost him the Intercontinental Title on Raw last Monday. After Jey’s involvement (which the referee never saw), the Machine Guns duo Shelley & Sabin defeated Tama Tonga to claim the win and the WWE Tag Team Titles.

After the match, Jey Uso was alone in the ring when his twin brother Jimmy Uso walked out to join his brother in the ring. The Usos hugged as fans cheered loudly in Brooklyn. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns stood in the entrance area looking at his reunited cousins in the ring.

Roman Reigns and The Usos team up at WWE Crown Jewel

During the SmackDown tapings for the November 1st episode, there was an in-ring segment between Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson was at the show and gave this recap of what happened.

Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso came out for a promo. Jimmy said he needed Roman to move on from Jey Uso. Jimmy says he has squashed his beef and asks Roman to make up with him too. If they aren’t as strong as they need to be, they will lose at Crown Jewel. Roman asked for the microphone, but Jey came out before Roman could speak.

Jey said he took this match and fought to get back at Solo. He said the family wasn’t completely healed and it took all his strength just to stand next to them. He hasn’t forgotten what they did to him physically, emotionally and mentally. He said he showed up anyway because that’s what the family does. Roman listened with his head bowed. Jey said he’s on equal terms with Roman here. All three are equal and can stick together and run things the way they did back then.

Jey said if he is treated with even the slightest disrespect he is gone and if Roman doesn’t like it he can leave. Or he can act like his cousin and stick together at Crown Jewel. He asked Roman whether they would do it or not.

Roman took the microphone and thought before saying YEET. All three stood together in solidarity with their arms raised.

As mentioned above, the trio of Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso will face The Bloodline at WWE Crown Jewel. It is unknown which three members of The Bloodline will take part in the match, but it will likely include Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, as well as Tama Tonga or Tonga Loa.

The currently announced lineup for WWE Crown Jewel on November 1st is as follows:

  • Men’s Crown Jewel Championship: Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. World Heavyweight Champion Guenther
  • Women’s Crown Jewel Championship: WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax vs. Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan
  • Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens
  • Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Bronson Reed
  • United States Championship: LA Knight vs. Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes
  • WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill vs. Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL vs. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven vs. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson of Meta-Four

This means WWE will have seven matches at Crown Jewel.
