Madison De La Garza mourns the loss of her first child.

The Desperate housewives Alum, younger sister of Demi Lovatoshared on Oct. 26 that she had a C-section last month to give birth to herself and her boyfriend Ryan Mitchell‘s daughter they called Xiomarabut that the newborn did not survive.

“On the evening of September 27th, Ryan and I held our baby girl for the first and last time after an emergency C-section,” Madison, 22, wrote on Instagram. “Thank you, Xiomara, for making us parents to the most perfect angel in heaven. Mommy and Daddy love you, sweet girl.”

Demi shared her sister’s post on her Instagram Stories. “Rest to my beautiful, perfect niece Xiomara,” the 32-year-old wrote. “I’m so grateful that I got to hold you. I will be your aunt forever. I love you so much @maddelagarza.”

The “Confident” singer’s fiancé jute33, commented on Madison’s post saying, “I love you so much. Get some rest, Baby Angel Xiomara.”
