‘Romulus’ Sets Hulu Streaming Date Before Thanksgiving

The second highest grossing Foreigner film in cinema history, Alien: Romulus, will be released on Hulu on November 21st. That’s a 98-day theatrical window, which is pretty robust and par for the course for Disney since its return to Windows after former CEO Bob Chapek. Pic’s digital release took place on October 15th. The title will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on December 3rd.

Directed by Fede Alvarez Alien Romulus The film grossed $105.3 million at the domestic box office and $350.8 million worldwide. That’s what Ridley Scotts is all about Foreigner prequel, Prometheus, which grossed $126.4 million domestically and $403.3 million worldwide.

Alien Romulus was filmed 20 years after the original Foreigner Film (1979) and follows a group of young colonizers who come face to face with the worst form of life while searching the depths of an abandoned space station.

Alvarez told us at Crew Call about his inspiration for this Foreigner Continued: “I hope people can relate to it because it’s such a third world story. That’s where I come from. If you were born in the third world, for the better this is your reality, for the worse you will always do good when you grow up.”

“So, the narrative of young people being born into what they believe is the wrong place, where things around them feel like they’re falling apart and they just want to get out of there , they should look at their parents and…” Look: “I don’t want to end up like them.” That’s a third world reality.”
