Patchy drizzle and scattered showers are already moving through North Texas this morning. DFW may see a few breaks in the rain around midday, but then a line of severe thunderstorms develops this afternoon into the evening. There is a risk of flooding during torrential rain. Therefore, be careful of flooding on the roads. 1 to 2 inches of rain is possible for DFW, with heavier amounts (3 to 5 inches) further west.
