Matt Cameron confirms that after the outcome of Pearl Jam he did not retire

Matt Cameron sent shock waves through the rock world last week when he announced his departure of Pearl Jam after 27 years. “I took my last steps the drums Riser for the mighty pearl jam,” he wrote. “I am the crew, employees and fans all over the world grateful. There is no reason to assume that Cameron's departure is anything but a friendly provision, and the band even hugged him after one champagne toast at the end of his last Perlmam in Pittsburghs PPG Paints Arena on May 18. In retrospect, the short North American arena seems to be a friendly part of her long -term drummer at the beginning of this year. But the public was still not told why Cameron went. He also did not discuss future plans.

But in a new Instagram story in his official report, Cameron made it clear that the fans did not see the last of him. “Thanks for the kind support of the support,” he wrote, “and for the recording I am still an active musician.”

At this point, nobody knows exactly what that means. But the surviving members of Soundgarden are now in possession of Chris Cornell's last vocal tracks and have spoken many times about transforming them into the band's last album.

“Our goal and goal was always to complete it,” said Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil Rab in May. “I probably have enough not to want to leave anything unfinished or incomplete.
