While the team has returned to its Creamsicle roots since 2009, this has been the first time since the franchise's debut season that the original uniformations appear in a game in one game. The return of the 1976 jerseys is not only an allusion to the 50th season of the team, but also a celebration of many successes in the seasons.

“The Jersey '76 represents a piece of the history of Buccaneers and serves as a tribute to the generations of fans and players who have shaped this franchise,” said Brian Ford, Chief Operating Officer from Buccaners. “As we start our 50th season, we are proud to reintroduce the 76 jersey and tradition. It is a memory that every Buccaneers fan from the originals to the latest generation is part of a developing story that started in 1976 and was further written today.”

Season patch, but otherwise in 1976 with the unforgettable sleeve pattern with an orange strip between two red. The look is completed with the original white helmets, white pants and striped socks. There is a turn: The Buccaners have the words “Hey! Hey! Tampa bay!” On the inside of the Jersey collar, he remembered the team's first campaign that made their debut in 1979 when the franchise made the playoffs in season four.

This latest iteration of the Signature 1976 look was a joint effort with Nike, the exclusive uniform provider of the NFL, to create a seamless mix of inheritance and performance. The uniform contains the light tissue of Nike's steam protection, which was made from 85% recycled material, and has the DRI fit technology from Nike and Precision laser perforations for improved air flow and increased comfort.
