Shaquille O'neal threatens the former NFL star QB over Angel Reese

Shaquille O'neal threatens the former NFL star QB over Angel Reese

The social media drama between the former quarterback from Washington Commanders, Robert Griffin III, and the Chicago Sky star Angel Reese, was only much more serious.

This time it was 7-foot 1, 325 pound legend by Los Angeles Lakers, Shaquille O'Neal, and he had some serious words for Griffin III. After his last post on X, in which he assumed that Reese was responsible for his family, received the death threats.

“I was quiet on the Angel Reese front because she shared a video that supported my wife, children, family and friends, the threats of murder for my family and my friends and the threat of sexual violence for my children on social media and also received,” posted Griffin III.

“This will never agree to me. I have never attacked her or your family when I have clear basketball evidence that Angel Reese hates Caitlin Clark. It is sport. Everyone will not like each other.

While Griffin's message was part of a longer contribution who was actually defending Reese against a racist message that she did not earn as a cover of the “NBA 2K26” video game, he took the opportunity to call her up, which O'Neal had very insulted.

During a appearance in the “Off The Record” podcast, O'Neal Griffin III warned to move the name of Reese back into the media.

“RGIII, Twittering another monkey post about my girl Angel Reese, and I'll hit you [expletive] Face, “said O'Neal.” OK? It's enough. Usually I don't do things like that, but stop, brother.

“You got your job, you have your podcast, just leave my angel Reese alone. I am the one who calls her and she says she should not answer. [Expletive] Stop it – that's the last time. OK? Thank you very much.”

O'Neal has been a violent supporter and lawyer for Reese for years.

He was one of the louder voices that defended the LSU-Alaun against criticism of many sports media experts who played for a large part of their rookie season in Clark Reese rivality.

O'Neal defended Reese's campaigns this season after watching Clark after a hard foul at the start of the season when she made a second shot on Griffin III.

“It's not a real hatred,” said O'Neal. “You look around what is going on in this real country is hate. This is sport. I shouldn't like you.

“It is a shame that everything you did in your life are remembered for your podcast. You will be remembered for your podcast. That should tell you that you are not [expletive] Great.”
