The Indiana fever and its trio of 2025 WNBA All-Stars-Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell-Machten on the way to take over on ESPN on July 15, the former MVP-MVP-MVP of the League and the Connecticut Sun.

The fever (11-10) and Sun (3-18) divided their two previous meetings in Indianapolis this season. Connecticut defeated Indiana on May 30, 85-83, and the fever was on June 17th with an 88:71 win of the season.

Indiana played the first Matchup without Clark to miss the game because of a tense left quad. Three players – Fever Guard Sophie Cunningham and Connecticut Guards Jacy Sheldon and Lindsay Allen – were expelled from the highly physical second meeting, which culminated in a fight in the last minute.
