Live Fire training will take place for Camp Pendleton next week, warned basic official.

The training with highly explosive ammunition is planned until July 20 and can be heard at any time all day and night or night, the base said.

The hours cited are daily from midnight to 11:59 p.m.

Camp Pendleton published a schedule that refers to a number of activities from Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. The training is described as “ammunition with high explosive ammunition in the impact areas of Whiskey/Zulu”.

On July 20, Marines will carry out training with living mortars in the same hours in the same hours.

The Whiskey/Zulu Impact areas are located in the northern centrally part of the base, between 5 and 7 miles from Fallbrook and 6 and 10 miles from Oceanide.

The basis warned that the noises can be heard of up to 50 miles depending on the atmospheric conditions.
