But in her victory speech, Grijalva emphasized: “This campaign was about talking about the importance of the voice of this community. It was not a person. It was not about social media likes.”

Similar to the New York mayor's primary school, the competition in South Arizona was viewed by many political experts as a barometer, where the Democratic Party deals with many years of divisions between its establishment and the outsider as well as progressive and moderate wings as well as divisions.
