Camp Mystic began 45 minutes after the 'life -threatening flood floods' to evacuate: spokesman: spokesman

Dick Eastland, Managing Director of Camp Mystic, began to warn a warning about a “life -threatening flood of falls” about 45 minutes after the National Weather Service, said a spokesman for the family in Eastland.

The catastrophic floods, which continue to threaten in central texas, left 27 dead in Camp Mystic, an omniad only summer camp in Hunt, Texas, along the Guadalupe River.

Eastland received a warning on his phone from the National Weather Service on the morning of July 4 at 1:14 a.m. and began to sleep without access to electronics in their cabins, according to the family spokeswoman for Eastland, Jeff Carr.

Based on a preliminary timeline of the events, Eastland began to bring to a higher height at 2:00 a.m. than the situation deteriorated according to Carr.

“They had no information that indicates the size of the coming.

Eastland died and tried to evacuate camper from her huts when the waters of the Guadalupe river climbed. ABC News previously reported that some of these cabins were in the flood of the river, which Kerr County officers as “an extremely dangerous area due to the speed of floods that wear rubble, potential projectiles and erosion potential”.

The information provided by Carr delivers one of the first windows to the nightly scramble, which took place in the isolated camp, in which 27 consultants and camper lost their lives during the floods.

Carr announced the Washington Post beforehand that the evacuations started at 2:30 a.m., but the timeline decreased when he spoke to ABC News. He warned that the timeline defined by the family is temporary and estimated that the evacuations started closer to 2 a.m. He said the timeline was said to be together, based on the reports of family members who supported night watchmen in the evacuation and Camp Mystics.

According to Carr, Eastland began communicating with its family members via Walkie-Talkie shortly after the first warning with the evaluation of the rising water. When they started to see the extent of the floods, Eastland began to move campers from the Camp Mystic leisure center with the process of moving campers from the depicted cabins.

The National Weather Service has published a worse alarm at 4:03 a.m. and sometimes warns: “This is a fall flood emergency for the southern central Kerr County, including Hunt. This is a particularly dangerous situation. Find a higher floor now!”
