Chip Gaines defends his Magnolia network from his and Mrs. Joanna Gaines in the middle of setbacks

The counter reaction to Chip and Joanna Gaines' new Magnolia Network Reality series “Back to the Frontier” has moved the pair's extensive lifestyle empire into the spotlight.

The couple was criticized last weekend after Chip advertised the new series in which three families like pioneers live. People flooded his post and promoted the show with frustrations about an same-sex couple, which was filled as one of three couples in the reality series.

Reverend Franklin Graham, President of Samaritan's wallet and Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, described the Casting decision as “very disappointing”.

“While we humans should love, we should love them enough to tell them the truth of God's word,” he wrote on social media. “His word is the absolute truth. God loves us, and his design for marriage is between a man and a woman. To promote something that defines God as sin is sin in itself.”

Chip reacted quickly to the criticism, wrote to X, “said Qustns [sic]Listen to .. maybe even learn. To ask too much for modern American Christian culture. Judge 1., later/never understands it is a sad Sunday where 'non -believers' were never confronted with hatred or vitriol until they are introduced to a modern American Christian. ”

The Gaines won fame for the first time more than 10 years ago when they were occupied in the HGTV series “Fixer Upper” in 2013, which showed the couple that the couple was revitalized over their Magnolia Homes Business in Waco, Texas, ongoing houses.

They also own the Magnolia Journal Magazine, have written a number of lifestyle books, including Joanna's “Home Body” and chips “No Pain, No Gains”.

The couple also opened a Boutique Hotel, Hotel 1928 in 2023 after renovating a historical hotel in Waco with 33 rooms. The couple also offers holiday rentals in Waco, including Hillcrest Estate and Hillcrest Cottage, the original carriage house for the property.
