The new Cotati Indoor Golf course is open 24 hours a day

The new Cotati Indoor Golf course is open 24 hours a day

Cotati's new golf simulator Golf 20for7 was opened in May and offers Golf 24 hours a day.

Marc Fischer has been an enthusiastic golfer since his college days, but he noticed that Sonoma County was missing something that will benefit the golfers to improve their skills – an inner golf course.

After dreaming of this facility for years, the residents of Santa Rosa and his wife Julie opened a inner golf course called Golf 20for7 last month in Cotati.

“I am very happy to be part of the Cotati community, and I just hope that it is growing and expanding, and I look forward to serving the community with entertainment and some training to serve golf,” said Fischer.

Golf 20for7 offers High -Tech -Golf simulators that show statistics about the swing of the golfer, the ball track of the ball and more and more greens. You can also receive a golf lesson from PGA member David Suh.

The golf simulator uses a projector and a screen structure. A golfer meets balls on a soft, flexible screen, and the simulator shows data the swing of how far the ball, the angle of the swing, the strength behind the swing and much more.

This is one of the few indoor golf simulators in Sonoma County, together with the Aces Ball Club, who has cages and golf simulators, and the sports company in Petaluma, which was soon opened.

With his tables and chairs that customers use when introducing food, Fischer compares the facility with a “man's cave”.

“It has everything you want in your own place when you had space. I tried to make it in our facility,” said Fischer.

Customers can reserve one hour for $ 50 for one of the three simulators. You also have the option of buying basic membership for $ 150 in order to have access to 24 hours a three -hour limit per day and a guest fee of USD 20.

Premium membership for $ 200 per month offers the same advantages, except that the guests do not have to pay a fee.

Fischer said that customers book a session on their website and receive an e -mail with a link to unlock the simulator's door. The customer then switches on projector and swings off the screen.

Fischer said the ability of the facility to stay open around the clock makes it unique. His background in software consulting gave him the tools he needed to monitor the business without being needed at night.

“As an enthusiastic golfers themselves, for those who not only want to have fun, but also want to carry out some activities to improve the game, the technology has only played a very long way in recent years,” said Fischer. “It makes it a really positive experience.”

Abraham Flinders, one of the customers of the facility, said that more people started with the golf, there were fewer T -shirts Times and this offers an alternative to the golf course.

“You don't have to be a great golfer, you can really build up your game. There is nothing intimidating, just come in and swing away and have fun,” said Flinders.

Flinder said that the facility not only offers golfers a place to practice their swing, but also a entertainment room for Cotati. He said he often visits the place after work and after his two little children are in bed.

“After 8 p.m. you can only go into the bar. And we only need more things that don't constantly bring alcohol. And this is a great way to not get some movement, but you can do it with friends, you can be competitive and it is great,” said Flinders.

The large opening of the business this week on July 17th at 4:30 p.m. is offered when free Golf and a networking mixer are offered for the Cotati Chamber of Commerce.

Fischer hoped to expand with locations in Santa Rosa and Petaluma. According to your website, you can expect these facilities to open these facilities at the end of 2025.
