The Blues Eye Tomas Soucek as a new midfield goal

The Blues Eye Tomas Soucek as a new midfield goal

Tomas Soucek has developed as the latest goal for Everton when they strengthen their search for midfielder. According to Teamtalk, David Moyes wants to be reunited with his former West Ham player.

The report even says that an official offer from Everton could be held shortly. “An offer of 12 million GBP is in the pipeline – a number that should meet West Ham's evaluation,” she said.

The Czech national player entered West Ham in 2020 from Slavia Prague.

Moyes is said to be an admirer of the 30-year-old talent, and while West Ham is not in a hurry to sell Soucek, who still has 2 years in his contract, they could be ready to separate if a suitable offer arrives.

Everton has already permanently contracted Carlos Alcaraz, the French striker Thierno Barry from Villarreal and recently completed the transfer of goalkeeper Mark Travers from Bournemouth.

Tomas Soucek liked again.

Some thoughts?

This will certainly correspond to our politics to recruit new young talents with good sale.

No, thanks, he is 30 days behind him and West Ham, who is ready to let him go, Luiz would be a forward step in the right direction.

This signing would disappoint me and make no sense

No no no.

I always liked Soucek (except for playing against us!) And I think that 10 £ 12 million could be a decent edition. No expensive capital of today's terrible financial benchmarks, and with a few decent years I would have thought in his tank.

How many people thought that Gareth Barry was only suitable when he put himself in grass.

£ 12m are nothing these days. He is a reliable player that Moyes knows well. He is not only a phyical defensive presence, but also has a goal in it. 30 years old means that he has another 4-5 years in him. So if we offer him a 2-3-year contract, this is a child's play. The squad is worn out and we need reliable additions as soon as possible.

If we can get this guy for 12 million, it is a child's play. He will work surprisingly well in a Moyes system. At his age he doesn't relate to the square, so he has 2 years at the age of 30 who have been years.

Hope that is not true. I never thought that he was so great. We should address younger players. Douglas Luiz or Palninha would be my choice because they are much better.

We will not get all of our No. 1 goals. I think we need 2 cms and I would be satisfied with him and another (preferably Douglas Luiz)

He also has goals in his locker, from which we are not from midfield from midfield – around 6-7 per season.

Hopefully this is just a lazy link. If Moyes really wanted, it would have it now. Maybe he is a 5th or 6th choice.

I am not sure if he would start for one of the teams over us.

The usual grumbling about his age I see. He will only be in the next February 31. Nevertheless, everyone was happy to register Gueye, and he will be 36 in September. In the last five seasons he has hardly missed a game and is a current international. He experienced, motivated and is a good leader. It is physically strong. Box to Box and 6 '4 “big and he has a few goals.
We have already signed some younger players in Alcaraz, Barry and Travers. But not every player can be bought with the resale value. Especially if we don't want to sell good players anyway. Just look at the relief when Branthwaite signed his new contract.
Pickford in the goal, Branthwaite and Tars in the middle of defense. Gueye and Soucek Center Midfeld and Barry/Beto in front. A strong spine seems to me.
It is a desire to think that a PL page can only be composed from 20 years. Every decent side is a mixture of youth and experience. So we should strive for that.

It would be a reasonable, if not upright purchase to fill a position for the next 18 to 24 months.

Who knows how it will appear in the new stadium, but based on his achievements against us at Goodison over the years when he had always increased his game and created against us like Lewis Dunk of Brighton, he could be good capital.

£ 12 million are in 2015 like 3 million GBP, so no peanuts, but also not caviar.

Well, until I see it from credible sources, this can go and see pile in the waiting time.

There could be something in it, or it could be lazy journalism that compiled 2+2 due to the Moyes-West Ham-Links.

Nothing that you can persuade about.

For those who sometimes “in Moyes, we trust, quote”, if if, if if it should happen, we have to trust his judgment.

With a more positive prospects, can you imagine concerns about gazen of the opposition defense as the land of Giants (Branthwaite, O'Brien & Soucek) to deal for corners and set pieces?

I would say an upgrade to Doucore. As long as we sign another marquee (or three!) Then I will be happy.

I hear an offer of £ 40 million for Jacob Ramsey. It's rather like that.

Whoops – £ 30 million, not 40

Not excessively enthusiastic, but also not excessively disappointed. At least he will not achieve his usual winner against us. The Klamor for Douglas Luis surprises me, was never too impressed when I watched him (admittedly not so much)
The reality is, we need players, experienced players when they have. You cannot be all signs for the future.
Hopefully Davie discovered the new Cahill, Jagielka, Lucott, etc.

I saw excerpts in these terrible websites that the new owners of ToffeeWeb loved to use Jake, so hopefully you heard that of someone who is much more credible.

Moyes knows this player and how he could fit into his system. The player is quality and the fans will like him, should he sign, work hard and reliably and have a few goals in him at 30? So what he is not signed for the 100 meter.

According to Goodison News, Ndiaye will apparently be angry if we sign Jacob Ramsay and “may feel”, as Everton does not trust him.
Are people actually paying to write such a complete shit?

Sam Hoare

22 Posted 16/07/2025 at 16:06:01

Soucek is not convinced of Doucoure's upgrade. The age doesn't worry, but sportiness is doing it. Not always a problem, but I don't think he's in the same clip as Gareth Barry. Only a hard -working player who grabs the old set piece. Not the worst, but would hope for better hope.

Also not Jacob Ramsey up. £ 30 million would be a lot for someone who fell off a lot after a good first two seasons.
