The Harry Potter actress banned six months for speeding

The Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has been banned from driving for six months after accelerating.

Watson, who played in the film franchise Hermine Granger, drove a blue Audi at 38 km / h on the evening of July 31st last year in a 30 km / h in Oxford.

Watson already had nine points on her license before the speed incident took place, as the court heard.

The 35-year-old, now a student, was paying a total of £ 1,044 in front of the High Wycombe Magistrates' Court.

Watson's lawyer Mark Haslam told the court that she was a student and added: “She is able to pay for the fine.”
