NHL publishes 2025-26 schedule of the regular season


October 13, the Canadian Thanksgiving Festival, the first week is marked by “Prime Monday Night Hockey”, a double header with the Detroit Red Wings in the Maple Leafs (4 p.m. et), followed by the St. Louis Blues in the Vancouver Canucks (7:30 p.m. ET).

All 32 teams will play on October 11th and 28th. The games on October 28th will be spread, starting with the penguins at the Philadelphia Flyers at 6 p.m. ET and with the Kings in the San Jose Sharks at 11 p.m.

The Penguins and Nashville Predators will take part in the NHL Global Series 2025, which are presented by Fasten and play games on November 14th and 16th in Stockholm.

The first retirement of the Stanley Cup final 2025 will take place on November 22nd when the Panthers organize the Oilers in the Amerant Bank Arena. In addition, Edmonton will organize Florida on Rogers Place on March 19.

The Thanksgiving showdown will contain two original six teams, with the Rangers visiting the Bruins on November 28th.

The Rangers will be back in the national spotlight on January 2 if they play in the 2026 Discover NHL Winter Classic. The first outdoor game of the Panthers and the first outdoor game of the NHL in Florida takes place in the Landepot Park, the home of Miami Marlins from MLB.

On January 17, the Hockey Day in Canada will mark the Scotiabank Day and put all seven Canadian teams in action, including the Canadiens among the Ottawa senators. The Maple Leafs at the Winnipeg Jets; The New York Islanders on the flames and the oilers in the Canucks.

On February 1, the limelight will be again in Florida, this time in Tampa, where the Tampa Bay Lightning will organize the Bruins in the series of the Navy Federal Credit Union Stadium 2026 in the Raymond James Stadium, the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaners of the NFL.

In the same week, after the games on February 5, the NHL will pause so that players can take part in the 2026 winter Olympics in Milan, Italy. The game will be resumed on February 25th.
