The Hardin County's office announces the death of Detective | Hardin County

July 16, 2025, press release from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office:

Kenton, Ohio – The Hardin County's office is sad to report the death of Detective Bryan Bodine on Tuesday, July 15, 2024.

Detective Bodine had served the citizens of Hardin County as a deputy, K-9 and detective in the past 12 years. Unfortunately, he is missing as an estimated friend and member of the Sheriff's office.

The special appreciation is extended to the sheriff of Logan County, Randall Dodds, and his employees for their support during this time as well as numerous other law enforcement and first aid agencies who have supported and offered their support.
