Bradley Beal is ready to buy with Suns, to join Clipperers

The three-time NBA All-Star Bradley Beal has approved a contract purchase with the Phoenix Suns and plans to join the LA Clipper with a two-year player option of a contract of $ 11 million.

The player option for 2026-27 is the way for Beal, 32, as one of the best available players in the free agency next summer.

In addition to Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, Beal is a natural fit in addition to Kawhi Leonard and James Harden as a scorer, playmaker and co-star. La signed Brook Lopez in the free agency and exchanged Norman Powell in a three-team deal against the Miami Heat, which John Collins brought from the jazz from Utah to the Clippers.

After a two-year run in Phoenix, the core of the decision for Beal and his representation found the best basketball adjustments. Beal received permission from the Suns to speak to interested teams in the league, said sources. Bartelstein has headed an exhaustive process in the past few weeks and met with the teams involved, with which Beal made the decision to separate and control where he wanted to go.

Employees in several other teams – including the heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers, said sources – persecuted Beal and have had extensive discussions with him and Bartelstein in the past few weeks.

Beal returns $ 110 million in the last two years of his contract in order to complete the Buyout with the Suns, which will probably do without the remaining salary over five years, says sources.

The move enables Beal to serve as an important addition to a playoff candidate at the Western Conference-and offers the sun's increased flexibility by taking them out of the first and second apron, enabling access to more usable action picks in the future and can open up part of the medium-sized exception.

The Sun's owner Mat Ishbia sworn after the last season that changes had come and he would reset the culture of the franchise, and he now completed a complete overhaul of the squad for the new leadership in coach Jordan Ott and General Manager Brian Gregory. The Suns exchanged Kevin Durant in a blockbuster deal against the Houston Rockets and brought back the veterans Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and the Draft Picks Khaman Maluach, Roseer Fleming and Koby Brea with another pimple of the second round.

Beal was acted in the sun in the summer of 2023 and used his no-trade clause to choose his goal when he was sold by the Washington Wizards for Chris Paul, Landry Shamet and the second round. It served as an aggressive all-in game for Ishbia and The Suns and sat down with Devin Booker from Beal, Durant and Superstar Guard.

Beal achieved an average of 17.6 points, 4.3 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 50.5% field goal pathway and 40.7% 3-point shooting for the sun in the last two seasons. He shot 2024-25 to 2-point components of 57% and shot a career height of 66% for layups and dunks last season last season. Injuries and disappointments by the team affected both campaigns when Beal played in only 106 of possible 164 games.

Beal spent his first 11 NBA playing times at the Wizards and made all-star teams in 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2020-21 and the all-NBA third team in 2021.
