Josh Koroma: Leyton Orient signs the former striker of Huddersfield on a free transfer


Koroma came through the Orient Academy, made his first team at the age of 17 and helped the East Londoners to win the National League in 2019.

His displays this season, which contained 11 goals in 39 league appearances, also brought him a change to the then Championship Side Huddersfield.

Koroma scored 35 goals in a six -year stay in 168 games at Huddersfield, which also included loan magic at Rotherham United and Portsmouth.

The Orient head coach Richie Wellens said: “I am very happy to bring someone of Josh's quality through the door.

“He does not need an introduction to our fans and returns as a man and someone who now has great experience at this level and the above level.

“He should get into the best years of his career and if we can get the best out of him, he can be a special player for us.”
