As soon as he can officially play again, Urías will try to continue his MLB career, Agent Scott Boras said to Bill Shaikin from Los Angeles Times.

“He still intends to continue his career,” said Boras on Monday. “He has in shape. Obviously he will have options that are open to him.”

Boras refused to deal with details about the options or possible offers that Urías has on the table. According to Shaikin Urías, several teams have been believed to have checked in.

Every team that signs Urías has to wait some time before it is willing to play in games. Urías supposedly has to come in shape. It is unclear whether he could do this in time to return to the hill this season, or whether he would need the entire low season to get back in baseball.

The 28 -year -old Urías has not taken up in the majors since the 2023 season. He achieved a 4.60 ERA over 117 1/3 Innerings before he was suspended under the domestic violence policy of the league in September. It was the second time in his career that Urías was suspended by the league under this policy. Urías received a suspension of 20 games in 2019 after he was arrested and charged with domestic battery.

Urías served this suspension and returned to the team for the 2020 season. He was on the hill when the Dodgers later won the World Series this year and threw a goalless 2 1/3 innings to complete the competition.

In the next two seasons he played well for the team, achieved a votes of the down ballot-child-you-price rental with 2.57 ERA over 360 2/3 innings in 2021 and 2022.

Urías was in the middle of a year in which he received his second suspension of MLB in 2023. Urías was arrested for suspicion of domestic violence after he was supposed to get into a physical change with his wife outside the BMO stadium in Los Angeles. This indictment was finally changed to five offenses. Urías did not advocate any of these charges. The other four were dropped.

In 2024 a video of the incident of 2023, which pushed Urías into a fence. Urías seemed to bring his wife to momentum when the two were separated by witnesses.

Urías' contract ended after the 2023 season and he was not signed in 2024 while the league continued to examine the situation. In March, the league announced that Urías would be suspended during the all-star break of 2025 MLB and paved the way for his expected re-hiring on Thursday.
