BT DOMP: The network provider has in Great Britain with a failure as “hundreds of British do not access” on e -mails.

Hundreds of British reported problems with BT this morning and claimed that they could not access their e -mails.

More than 800 people have registered complaints about the Downdetector Website that measures failures today.

Some vented their frustration on the social media website XWith one said that the “e -mail servers are without an answer”.

Another said: “BT your e -mail does not work. I can send messages on my phone, but cannot attach pictures to you, although permission has been granted.

“I can't access my e -mail at all on my PC.”

A third wrote: “I cannot access e -mail on a laptop – error code BMX_2XXX. Can access the phone as usual. Please explain.”

About 51 percent of the problems reported were the company's e -mail.

In the meantime, 41 percent complain about broadband and 2 percent about landline.

Most reports came after 9 a.m. – just like millions of workers had registered to start their shifts.

BT has confirmed since then that the problem has now been resolved.

A BT spokesman said: “Today some BT -E -Mail customers were unable to access their e -mails.

“The problem was solved. We are sorry for any inconvenience.”

The spokesman informed The Sun beforehand that they had examined after “some BT -E -Mail customers could not access their e -mail” in Webmail and via the app.

BT has a service where you can check whether there is a failure in your area.

You can use the Service Checker on your website so you can see what happens.

How can I check whether my broadband or my e -mails are no longer?

Most broadband and mobile phone providers have dedicated pages on which you can check the offer in your region.

For example, BT has its own page-BT.com/help/check-service status.

You can also check websites like Down detector that tell you whether other people have problems with a specific company online.

You have to enter your phone number to check your line.

Alternatively, you can call the BT helpline under 0800 800150.

You can also fix problems with your BT -Widenband on your help side.

You can also check social media to determine whether BT has informed about a widespread loss of service or whether other customers have similar problems.

The problem comes after thousands of BT users had problems accessing their e -mails at the beginning of this year.

At that time, more than 5,000 people reported problems.

The problem started early in the morning when customers reported symptoms shortly after 5 a.m.

How can I contact BT and are entitled to compensation?

You can contact BT by phone, post or online by visiting Bt.com/help/contact-BT.

You can also talk to BT about the Live Chat service.

If you are a broadband customer and the failure you have left without service, you may be entitled to compensation.

Contact BT to find out what you can offer you.

You may also have the right to leave if you are without service for a continuing period.

If your problem is still unsolved after eight weeks, you can complain about an independent alternative dispute resolution scheme (ADR).
