Tomorrowland 2025 Mainstage destroyed by fire


The main level in the Belgian dance Mega Festival Tomorrowland was almost exclusively destroyed by fire.

The film material, which was shared by the Belgian news station VRT NWS on Wednesday (July 16), shows that the largest meeting area in the festival is consumed by flames. The explanation also states that the festival campsite called Dreamville on Thursday (July 17) is opened as planned that festival activities in Brussels and Antwerp will take place as planned and that “We are geared towards finding solutions for the festival weekend (Friday and Saturday Sunday). Further updates and detailed information will be communicated as quickly as possible.”

Tomorrowland 2025 will start this Friday, July 18, and extends until Sunday, July 20th. The second weekend of Tomorrowland is scheduled to begin on Friday, July 25th and run through the weekend. The largest dance music festival in the world, Tomorrowland, reports that around 400,000 participants usually take place on the two weekends.

According to VRT NWS, emergency services are currently on site, and the police spokesman Joris van Camp said in a statement that officials have “made space for their work. People's security is our top priority. We recommend people with odor disorders to close their windows and doors and to stay out of the smoke.”
