Dripy Thames Water Boss accuses rain for leaks

Thames Water Boss Chris Weston has blamed “too much rain” for an increase in wastewater leaks.

“Last winter, before we came to spring, we had the second most moist winter in record. There were a few months like last September, in which the precipitation of the normal monthly precipitation was twice.

“Our system should never deal with it. We take enormous steps to improve our position in relation to pollution.”
