Caitlin Clark violates the groin area late in the Fever's victory against the sun

Boston-Indiana Fever-Star Caitlin Clark left 85-77 victory over the Connecticut Sun in the TD Garden on Tuesday evening due to an apparent groin injury that took place in the last minute.

Indiana coach Stephanie White confirmed Clark “felt something in her groin area” and she would be rated “and see what happens from there.”

After Clark had completed a Bounce Pass for teammates Kelsey Mitchell for a layup, Clark held the inside of her right thigh before being frustrated over the Stanbeer.

Clark was visibly emotional when she went to the fever bench and put a towel over her head.

Before this season, Clark had never played out a game in her college or professional career. But her second WNBA season was interspersed with injuries. This summer she played nine games of the regular season (10, including the Commissioner Cup's final).

Clark exposed itself for the first time from a pre -season because she played the following day in an exhibition at the University of Iowa, her Alma Mater, the following day. Later in May and June, she was discontinued by five games from the first two-week route from the end of June to early July due to a groin injury on her left side as part of a left-wing quad load on her left side.

Clark brought her back from this injury less than a week ago to lose the Golden State's Valkyries.

After the postgame after the physical game, which Clark faces on a night, White replied: “There is a level of physicality with which you can play against you.”

“I knew it as an opponent and I see it as her trainer,” said White. “I am not quite sure why, but it's just what it is and we have to help her adapt it and use her in a certain way. We have to find some ways to make it a little easier for you. But the extent of physicality in our league was at a different level at a different level than long.”

Indiana improved 8: 5 with Clark this season on Tuesday after he had gone 4-5 without her. She ended with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists against the sun, including nine points and two assists in the fourth quarter, to finally deduct the fever. Clark achieves an average of 16.5 points, 8.8 assists and 5.0 rebounds this season.

The 12-10 fever, which this season is for the first time on two games over 0.500 improved will be completed on Wednesday the second leg of a two-consecutive leg when you compete against defending champion New York Liberty in Brooklyn.

Clark, a captain and starter from 2025 All-Star games, was appointed 3-point competition on Friday on Friday on Friday.

“I think we only take it one step after the other,” said White about Clark. “We will get some food and get on the plane and talk about New York. It will be rated. We will see where we are. And we will surely have another rating and a conversation in the morning in the morning.

“We know that we have a hard opponent in New York. We know that it will be a challenge, no matter what happens, and we just have to lock ourselves up to the competition.”
