A Wichita man was arrested after an almost one -week series of crimes from Hays Medical Center to Hays Municipal Park.

Tim Greenwood, deputy chief of police from Hays, said that 30-year-old Thomas Clay Bradford was registered in the backyard of a house at 11:15 p.m. in the 2900 block by Roosevelt.

Officials who responded to the scene found Bradford, who claimed to own property. Greenwood said Bradford ignored the commands of the officials and supposedly tried to flee before he was custody.

He was charged with the law enforcement authorities for criminal transition, possession of marijuana, possession of drug utensils, interference in the law enforcement agencies.

Greemwood said Bradford supposedly drove to the scene.

At 4:43 a.m. July 5, Greenwood said that Bradford had entered Haysmed, 2220 Canterbury Drive, and is supposed to take a patient's room where he had withdrawn to take a shower.

The security asked him to go before calling the police. Bradford was taken to Ellis County's prison and held for six hours, said Greenwood.

At 8:55 a.m. on July 8th, Greenwood said that Bradford was supposed to try to enter two occupied vehicles in Hays Municipal Park, 100 Main St., both drivers started, and one reported Bradford from the police.

According to Greenwood, the charges of July 5th and 8th were summarized into a single affidavit, which was then forwarded to the law firm Ellis County.

The combined charges of the two incidents include two counts of a severe slump, a burglary, two counts of possession and two counts of the possession of drug utensils.
