On Wednesday afternoon, a deadly stabbing near a popular Northwest Atlanta intersection will be examined.

The officials reacted to the scene near the intersection of Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard and Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway at 2.20 p.m.

According to the Atlanta police department, a 53-year-old woman was found by civil servants in the parking lot of Citi-Paket beer and wine who suffered from stab wounds.

She was taken to a regional hospital in which she died.

Late employees said they had overheard two women who argue loudly in the parking lot, but could not see what the argument was about. One of the women described as regular customers stabbed the other during the dispute.

The suspect fled before the officials arrived and the police are still working to find them.
