The man, who was initially accused of murdering a 30-year-old father, is not pursued by criminal law, the district prosecutor's office of DEKALB told Fox 5 on Wednesday.

According to the Dekalb County police authority, the 21 -year -old flaw Harris was charged with murder for malice.

The police said these charges were due to 10:30 p.m. on April 18 at 10:30 p.m. in the Rockwell Pointe Apartments in the Rockwell Pointe Apartments.

The police said the video shows a group of people who surround Hambrick in the complex parking lot.

Harris was arrested on May 16. Prison records indicate that it was released on June 13th.

“As with any arrest of crimes, the office of the District Prosecutor's Attorney from DEKALB conducts a thorough investigation of the facts and circumstances before a final decision was made. After checking the case, our office found that the shooting in question according to Georgia was self -defensive and justified.

FOX 5 has contacted the Dekalb County's medical examiner for the cause of the death of Hambrick.

It is not clear whether this evening will be charged against others in the parking lot.
