The best new bars from Icast 2025

The best new bars from Icast 2025

We comb the floor in Icast 2025 for the best new equipment for fresh and salt water fish. As far as the poles are concerned, the topic is a new, light, unhorgeous pole for salt water anglers. But there are still many new options – spinning casting – for the crowd of fresh water. There are even a few great new fly rods, including an 8 weight that really impressed us before the show. We had the opportunity to test many of these bars in the past few months, and for those we don't have to throw them on the show. Below is a first look at some of the best new spinning, casting and fly rods to keep an eye out in 2025.

New freshwater rods

Trika 10x

I had my first experiences with Trika last year and tested her 6 -time spinning and pouring sticks, and I was very impressed. Your new 10x should be even better. According to the Trika website, this rod is said to be 133 percent more sensitive than its competitors. Although I can't speak with it, I can say that this rod is very light and sensitive. When it picked up the bar at the show, it felt familiar and fantastic. The biggest differences between the trika bars and others are their ekkochhamber handle and the woven graphite blank construction, which was generated by their axial WEAVE process. The 10 -fold has these and several other top components and technologies. Anglers can pick up one for 450 US dollars. – Shaye Baker

Jigging World Revel series

The Jigging World exploded into the scene at this year's show. The company started both spinning and casting rods in the price ranges of $ 100, $ 150 and $ 300. However, the Revel -Lineup, which rates at 150 US dollars, impressed me the most. These rods feel light, strong and sensitive. Both the spinning and cast rods have a unique structured material that shows the company's logo on the handles that are comfortable in the hand. – SB

Daiwa Tatula Bass

For $ 180, the Tatula Bass is a quality rod at a fair price. With 10 spin options and 13 cast options there is a pole for everything you can imagine in the bass fishing. I like the clean cork handles that bring back several companies. The other aesthetic aspects of this bar, such as the empty design and the rod, give it a unique and attractive look. And as always, this Daiwa rod felt great when I took it – light, sensitive, strong and comfortable. – SB

Cashion element Z2

The Cashion element noticed for two reasons: the price and the fact that it was manufactured in America. Due to tariffs, many companies could not even offer an MSRP for products. However, the America-made cashion element has a fixed price of $ 130. There are eight spinning and eight cast options in the element Z2 line. The K-frame casting guides, the composite American sources and a 3-year guarantee are among the characteristics that distinguish these poles. – SB

New salt water rods

G. Loomis IMX-Pro green

G. Loomis Imx-Pro green salt water rod

The new G. Loomis Imx-Pro Green Inshore salt water rod is light, sensitive and powerful enough to deal with large fish.

This is my favorite salaries of Icast 2025. Yesterday I had the opportunity to throw the IMX-Pro-green on the water, and was very impressed. It is easy, sensitive and balanced. My casts were surprisingly accurate and I was satisfied with the distance I could get when I looked a small soft plastic shrimp. The carbon fiber roller seat and the Fuji guides should increase the durability, while the slight emptiness and comfortable handle should ensure all-day fishing. This rod is perfect for the strip bass, red bark, snook, bonefish and other inshores. The light green color brose also has a salt water look. The IMX-Pro Green costs $ 380. –Yan Chelius

Temple Fork Outfitters Intracoastal

Inshore anglers have another option for light poles in the new TFO intraacoastal. These spaces are equipped with soft, fast tips and progressive rejuins. This means that the new intracoastal is sensitive and enables them to feel subtle bites when fishing the apartments. The line -up comprises fourteen models with eleven spin options and three cast rods. It feels great in the hand and it doesn't matter to me, the sky blue spaces. This rod should crush into the BAB Bay fishing, regardless of whether you beat the banks with artefikers or tense deeper channels with cutbait. It is also more affordable than some of the other coastal rods. Anglers can pick up one for $ 180. – RC.

Jigging World Fns sticks

The new FNS series from the Jigging World is aimed at a long -lasting spaces. If you pick you up, you will find that it contains a little more beef than other coastal poles, which makes sense if you want to throw out the beach for larger coastal species. I would not go that far to call this as a surf casting rod, but it has more than enough strength to combat stripers, redfish and snook from the shore. It can also earn as an all-round inshore rod, be it on the apartments or on fishing flat swamps. The FNS ROD Series is becoming a retail trade in retail in retail in retail in retail in retail for 220 US dollars in retail in retail. – RC

Fitzgerald First Class Inshore Rods

Fitzgerald Fishing's first class is another new bar for apartments and Bay Fischer. The spaces are light and sensitive and clearly has a backbone to combat larger fish. Fitzgerald also added stainless steel drivers and Eva predecessors to increase durability. I like the split grip, which should increase the sensitivity to the back of the blank for subtle settings. Captain Ca Richardson helped design this rod, and if you know something about Ca, you know how he is in line with the coastal fishing. The new first class should link in flat swamps and bays for red fish, snook, tarpon and striped bass. – RC

Best new fly rod

Tfo moment

The TFO moment is the best new Fly -Rod, which was released at Icast 2025. I had the chance to fish this rod shortly before the show for red and sea trout, and it was absolutely crushed. It is balanced and light, still has enough strength to throw winds through stiff winds and fight large fish. How do I know? I landed five red fish on this bar and a bonus 30-pound-black drum. It is easy to produce precise casts and fly directly along the bench, sit in the fish. Although it is not cheap ($ 650), this rod is still a step below the premium price, but offers almost premium performance. – RC

St. Croix Legend Elite

The new and improved legend elite rods from St. Croix will be available in 2026. The company claims that these rods are manufactured with improved materials and ergonomic characteristics as well as with the best technologies from St. Croix. Although I can't talk to it, I love how this rod feels and looks. I held the 5 weight model with a medium-fast action and was impressed. The aesthetics are also classic, with a brown and bronze finish. The line will offer 12 models, and I am sure that it will be a competitor in the F&S Fly Rod Shootout from next year. This rod will be available for 595 US dollars in 2026. – RC
