The Auburn Wide Receiver Malcolm Simmons was arrested on Wednesday due to a domestic attack with strangulation or suffocation, according to Lee County's recent arrest database.

Simmons was instructed to Lee County's prison on Wednesday evening at 6.20 p.m. and his bond is at 20,000 US dollars.

Auburn did not immediately answer an request for comments.

Simmons was one of many breakout newcomers for Auburn in 2024 and caught 40 passes for 451 yards and three touchdowns. Simmons, a four-star recruit of Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, was part of the “Freeze Four” group of Blue Chip recipients in the Tiger's 2024 Signing class.
