Extended game streaming functions: stream your own game

Microsoft has expanded its “Stream Your Own Game” function in the Xbox -app for Windows 10 and 11. So far available on Xbox consoles, web browsers, selected smart TVs and VR headsets. The function of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can play games that you already have without the standard pass library from Microsoft -Cloud server on the PC. At the start of the PC, more than 250 titles are supported, including exclusive consoles with top-class consoles such as Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy and various Assassin Creed entries. This represents a five-point increase compared to the console's first 50 game rollout at the end of 2024.

Access to the PC implementation requires adding to the PC -Gaming preview of the Xbox Insider program and an Active Game Pass Ultimate subscription. After the enrollment, users can navigate to the Cloud Gaming section of the Xbox -app, select “Stream your own game”, select a supported title and immediately save streaming and save local storage space and handle long downloads. The function is available in 28 countries in which Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is supported, and Microsoft plans to expand access beyond insiders and to expand the Xbox game everywhere and additional console titles over time.
