Espys 2025: Shane Gillis makes Crass Caitlin Clark Witz

The comedian Shane Gillis was tapped to the host of the Espys on Wednesday evening, and during one of his opening monologues he had a blatant -zinger for Indiana Fever Star Caitlin Clark.

Gillis, who is also an actor in the Netflix series “Tires”, had something for everyone while he was on stage in Los Angeles. The Thunder star from Oklahoma City, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Cleveland Browns Quarterback Shedur Sanders were also among the goals.

But Gilli's mapped Clark's future after she is finished with the WNBA.

“When Caitlin Clark retires from WNBA, she will work in a waffle house so that she can continue to do what she faithfully fought with a fist,” he said from the crowd.

Clark was not at the Espys on Wednesday, since after an obvious injury while the team's victory against the Connecticut Sun, she continued to be rated. She came from the ground from the ground on Tuesday evening and was seen in tears on the bench.

“I am not sure whether it is a rejoice like a different kind of injury. I often know when you work with injuries in the groin area and in the quad and the knee tendon, and all of these things only exist – they are all connected and it is not always one thing.”
