Flood clock exhibited

A flood guard is in force for Washington, DC and parts of Maryland and Virginia from 5 p.m. to Wednesday evening, since heat and humidity increase the risk of severe thunderstorms in the entire region.

Taylor Grenda from Fox 5 says that there is an easy chance of showing and thunderstorms in the afternoon, but the risk increases significantly in the evening.

Storms arrive late

What we know:

Heavy downpours, fall floods and excessive rainfall are possible, especially in areas where the soil is already saturated by previous storms.

The temperatures will be close to 90 degrees, with the heat index values increasing to 100–102 degrees this afternoon. The national weather service asks the residents to remain hydrated during the top of the top afternoon and to limit the outdoor activities.

Thursday will probably be the hottest day of the week, with altitude of almost 95 degrees and a lower chance of storms. The chances of rain and thunderstorms will return on Friday with hot, moist and insured conditions until the weekend and next week.
