Death victim from the Iraq shopping center rises to 61 to 61

At least 61 people were killed, and according to the country's Ministry of the Interior, some more are missing in a large fire in a shopping center in Kut City in Ostirak.

The ministry said on Thursday that 14 charred places in the Feueren Governorate had been found in Wassit's Governorate and that the civil protection teams would have saved 45 people out of the building, reports News.AZ, referring to foreign media.

Previously, a health officer in the city told the Reuters news agency: “We have put together a list of 59 victims whose identities were confirmed, but a body was so burned that it was extremely difficult to identify.”

Videos on social media showed flames that devour a five -story building in Kut overnight, where firefighters tried to curb the fire.

The governor of the province of Wassit, Mohammed al-Mayahi, said the fire broke out in a hypermarket and a restaurant. Families ate dinner and bought in, he said. Firefighters saved a number of people and highlighted the fire, the governor added.

Three days of grief were announced and an investigation was initiated. The test results are published within 48 hours.

“A tragedy and an accident hit us,” said the governor.

“We submitted complaints against the owner of the building and the shopping center,” Ina quoted the governor.
