Ons Jabeur to withdraw from tennis from your own well -being

The WTA announcedPresent external On Thursday that the Tunesian had withdrawn from the upcoming Montreal Open and added that the 30-year-old “was the only player in the top 99 who has not yet entered the next month”.

“In the past two years I have pushed myself so hard, fought through injuries and made many other challenges,” Jabeur wrote in a social media post.

“But deep inside I haven't been happy for some time.

“Tennis is such a nice sport. But at the moment I have the feeling that it is time to take a step back and finally sit down to the first place: to breathe, heal and just live the joy of living.”

Jabeur was as high in the ranking of women as the second number, but has now dropped to 71st place in the world.

As a two-time Wimbledon second place, she retired from her first round game in the All England Club this year when she fought herself with the hottest opening day of the tournament.

After her exit in Wimbeldon, Jabeur said: “I am pretty sad, it really doesn't really help with my self -confidence and what I was repeatedly crowded, even though it was a very difficult season for me.”

She added that she would rest and simply “try to separate a little from tennis” and spend some time with her family.
