The Super Bowl award winner Bryan Braman, who played for two teams in seven seasons in the NFL, died after a fight with a “very rare form of cancer” at the age of 38. His agent confirmed to CNN Sports on Thursday.

“Bryan Braman was a warrior in every respect – in the field and in life – against every fight with steadfast grit and heart,” said Sean Stellato. “His death leaves an emptiness not only in football, but also in the spirit of every outsider who has ever dared to fight.”

According to a Gofundme page that was organized to finance his treatment and medical necessities, Krebs was diagnosed in February.

In the recent update on the page from June it says that Braman had subjected several “surgical interventions” in a facility in Seattle, but could not fully recover due to its lowering immunity.

The most recent contribution added that Braman had returned home after auto-t-cell reprogramming. According to the National Cancer Institute, Car-T-Zell therapy includes the genetically determined technical T cells of a patient part of the body in the immune system to attack cancer cells.

Although there were signs of optimism when the “mass began to shrink”, “the cancer began to strike back”. As a result, Braman was subjected to chemotherapy, but the cancer became “exponentially faster” for its vital organs.

At the time of writing, the Gofundme had collected almost 90,000 US dollars. Braman's former Houston Texans teammate, JJ Watt, donated 10,000 US dollars for the matter.

Watt later paid tribute to Braman on social media and wrote: “Quiet in peace, brother.

Stellato posted a framed, signed braman jersey in his Instagram stories with the caption: “My heart hurts. I love you Bryan.”

Braman started his college career in Idaho before moving to Long Beach City College and ending in West Texas A&M.

After he had gone unhindered, he signed the Texans as a non -dragged free agent in 2011.

Braman became an integral part of the Special Teams Unit from Houston. He became a fan favorite after making a tackle without a helmet during a game against Tennessee Titans in 2011.

In 2012, he was appointed an alternative to one Pro Bowl special teams.

Braman spent three years in Houston before signing the Philadelphia Eagles. He spent four seasons – including a short spell for the New Orleans Saints Practice Team – with the Eagles.

In his last NFL season, he was part of the Eagles team who won Super Bowl Lii and defeated the New England Patriots.
