The 153rd Open Championship began at the Royal Portrush Golf Course in Northern Ireland. Xander Schauffele wants to defend his 2024 championship, but he will undoubtedly have a competition from Scottie Scheffler (PGA Championship), Rory Mcilroy (The Masters) and JJ Spaun (US Open) who won the other Major championships from Golf this year.
