The Steve Miller band canceled the tour due to the latest weather disasters

The catastrophic weather of recent years has cost a lot of life, caused damage worth billions of dollars and changes the climate and the economies of countries around the world. But the North American Tour of the Steve Miller Band 2025 may be the first to cancel due to the continuing trend of the weather disaster built into climate change and not a single event.

The Band Has Canceled All 31 Scheduled Dates of Its American Tour, which was slated to Begin Aug. 15 in Bethel, NY and TRAVERSE The Entire Country Before Concluding in Anaheim, Calif. On Nov. 8. Miller has toured regularly in recent years, and a look at ticketmaster (which still had seating maps posted at the time of this article's publication) Showed Soft Ticket Sales for many of the dates, Althogh This Could be at least partial due to the fact that the start date was almost a month away.

The band made the announcement in an uncomplicated tone that familiarizes the fans of the 81-year-old veteran, songwriter and guitarist and rock'n'roll Hall of Fame member, whose career extends until the mid-1960s and has thus classic rock hymns such as “The Joker”, “Fly Like a Eagle”, “Jet Airliner”, “Take the” Take the ” Money and Run ”and a lot, published.

“Dear Steve Miller Band fans,” it says completely.

“You make music with your instincts

You live life through your instincts

Always trust your instincts …

The Steve Miller band canceled all of our upcoming tour ates.

The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable floods, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires makes these risks for you our audience, the band and the crew unacceptable. So …

You can blame the weather … the tour is canceled.

I don't know where, don't know when … we hope to see them all again.

I wish you all peace, love and happiness.

Please take care of each other. ”

Miller's career was increased by his Rock'n'roll Hall of Fame induction in 2016, and he has released selected items from his catalog since he all passed on to the Universal Music Group the following year. He remains a strong performer, but his age and the weak prospects for weather trends that are improved in the foreseeable future means that another tour appears unlikely.
