The Brown County's office highlights the inmates that take care of the prison garden

Green Bay, Wisconsin (Wbay) – The Sheriff's office of the Brown County highlights his garden, which was recently planted in the Hof prison.

The Sheriff's office said that several inmates were selected to take part in the program.

The inmates planted salad, potatoes, peas, beans, tomatoes, coriander, lavender, green peppers, jalapenos, basil, lemon leaf, watermelon, cabbage, arugula, cucumber and zucchini.

They use the flowers to put natural pollinators into the beds, said the Sheriff's office.

So far, the sheriff's office said that the program was donated to Paul's pantry.

According to the Sheriff's office, this is the second year of the garden, which has grown considerably since the first year.
