Blackpink La Concert Night 2 Hightlights: 'Jump,' Stay 'and more

The K-POP super group Blackpink returned to Los Angeles over the weekend and officially started the North American stage of its Deadline World tour.

The four-member group of girls, which consisted of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa, played two sold-out shows in the Sofi Stadium of LA on July 12th and 13th and set a new record as the first group of girls, which sold two nights in the stadium. Night two of the La Run of the Girl Group was full of energy, excitement and even a surprising surprise in the form of a special guest. Here are some of the highlights of Blackpink's Deadline World Tour in La

In the period since the last visiting group LA, Blackpink has ventured as individuals, who each enjoy increasingly fertile solo career. In December 2023 it was announced that the group had renewed its exclusive contracts for group activities with YG Entertainment. However, it was later announced that all four members decided to separate the label for solo activities. At Columbia Records, Jennie signed with a partnership with her record label and her entertainment company Oddatelier. Lisa and her entertainment company Lloud signed a partnership contract with RCA Records. Rosé signed a global solo deal with Atlantic Records. While Jisoo signed a global contract with Warner Records.

In this sense, it was difficult to imagine what a setlist could look like, but Blackpink managed to make an impressive balance of the classic songs, new solo works and a guideline for the show. The group started the show with the most typical Blackpink track “Kill This Love” and later played other signature songs such as “DDU du DDU-Du”, “Lovesick Girls”, “Forever Young” and “How You”. They also played their debut songs (“Boombayah” and “Whistle”), songs from their recent complete publication (“Pink Venom” and “Shut Down”) and their latest single “Jump”.

A well -executed special guest surprise

Rosé and Bruno Mars have conquered the charts with the solo publication of the Blackpink member “APT” in the storm. The single, inspired by a popular Korean drinking game, spent 37 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. It is currently in 27th place after it has reached 3rd place.

The singer closed her solo set with “apt”. When Rosé ended the first chorus that the audience already started more than in the exuberant performance, the fans broke out when Mars was lifted onto the extended stage. The couple – sporty matching racing jackets – looked enthusiastic about performing the song, which made a highlight of the Night Second for Blackpink's performance of “Jump”.

There is something to say why K-Pop groups provide the ideal stadium law. Blackpink, similar to other K-pop groups, starts a show that is apparently tailored for a stadium with a non-stop and visually exciting almost three hours.

A Blackpink show would be fun at almost every event location, but a stadium with legions of fans, almost all of them with the legendary Rosa Hammer -Hammer -Light stick of the group in his hand, adds ten times. The Girl Group is to go in Chicago's Soldier Field, the Rogers stage in Toronto and the New York Citi Field before driving to Paris, Milan, Barcelona and London this year.

During the second act, which broke through a recorded video and the women from Blackpink on a street through the lights of Las Vegas and much more, the oldest member of the group, Jisoo and the youngest Lisa, carried out their solo sets, while Jennie and Rosé carried out their explanations throughout the law.

Jisoo made himself in the crowd with songs such as “Earthbquake” and “Your Love” in which the 30-year-old was raised in the air and was shown on stage. Lisa carried out strong versions of “Thunder” and “Fxck Up the World” with the 28-year-old strong versions of “Thunder” White lotus The actress also shows her undeniable dance skills.

Jennie, who played a small series of shows that are tailored to her solo publication rubyThe 29-year-old made the stadium feel like a club with a dynamic performance of her hits “Like Jennie”. Rosé was the last of her group members who carried out solo. The 28-year-old sang the mild “3 a.m.” and a shortened version of the leading single of her album “Toxic Till the End” before ending with a dynamite performance from “APT”.

It is clear that every member of the group had time to grow as a performer -Lisa and Jennie made their solo coachella debut, Jisoo toured Asia at the beginning of this year and Rosé was with an unstoppable top -40 hit in “APT”. However, each Solo department skillfully conveyed the idea that the performance as a solo singer has only improved its skills and chemistry as a group. The decision to include these solo sections contributed to the general feeling that every participant of the show probably had the feeling when leaving Sunday evening – Blackpink is at the top of her game.
