Mike Williams informs the chargers about his retirement

When the recipient Mike Williams returned to the chargers this low season, he said that he had to prove something after one “terrible”2024 with the jets and Steelers.

But then Williams did not end up physically to carry out the list to start the training camp.

Now Williams has decided to hang up his tunnels.

According to several reports, Williams informed the chargers that he will retire.

The 30 -year -old Williams was the first selection design of the chargers after the club moved to Los Angeles in 2017. He was the number 7 of this year's design from Clemson.

But Williams' career was affected by injury. He dealt with a back problem in his rookie season and had another one in 2022. Then in 2023 he suffered a torn ACL that probably disabled him in 2024. He was only able to perform twice in one season in every game – with the chargers in 2018 and played 18 games last season – nine with the jets and nine with the Steelers.

Williams put 1000 yards in the shade twice – in 2019 and 2021, both with the chargers. His best season was the latter when he ended the year with 76 receptions for a team height of 1,146 yards and led the team with nine touchdowns.

Williams will end his career in 106 games with 67 starts. He recorded 330 receptions for 5.104 yards with 32 touchdowns.
