The Steve Miller band ended 2025 tour, including the Nys Fair Show, the weather is responsible

The Steve Miller band, which is due to play the New York State Fair and two other New York concerts in the state of New York next month, announced the cancellation of their entire tour of 2025 on Wednesday evening and accused the weather.

The band made the announcement on Wednesday evening on social media. The band had planned 31 data this year, starting with a show on August 15 in Bethel Woods, NY, and ended with a show in Anaheim, California, on November 8, according to Pollstar.

The band was to appear on the Suburban Park stage of the State Fair on August 21st and in Seneca Allegany Resort & Casinos in Salamanca on August 30th.

No tour dates are now listed on the band's website. Instead, it has this note:

The Steve Miller Band has canceled all of our upcoming tour dates.

The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable floods, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires makes these risks for you our audience, the band and the crew unacceptable. So …

You can blame the weather … the tour is canceled.

I don't know where, don't know when … we hope to see them all again.

I wish you all peace, love and happiness,

In 2015, the band moved one of the greatest crowds in the concert history of State Fair concert with 36,900 fans.

The New York State Fair 2025 runs from Wednesday, August 20th to the day of work, Monday, September 1st.
