GRPD calculates Mugisha Mapenzi as an adult for ruthless discharge, which leads to Myasia Johnson's death.

Grand Rapids, Mich. The Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) has announced that he will be admitted to a 15-year-old boy at the shootout for the death of 15-year-old Myasia Johnson on June 12.

Mugisha Mapenzi was charged with regard to Johnson's death for ruthless discharge. According to the GRPD, Mapenzi is calculated as an adult.

“This is a really senseless death,” said GRPD boss Eric Winstrom. “Everyone should talk to the young people in their lives about the very real and tragic consequences of illegally obsessed weapons.”

GRPD said that due to the circumstances of the shootout, a secure memory examination was not applicable in this case.

Johnson was shot in the 700 Block of North Ave ne on June 12th at 11:30 p.m. She was found in a house in the area and, according to the police, suffered from a “life -threatening” gunshot wound.

It was brought to a nearby hospital in a critical condition, where she died the next day.

“A young life was taken and another young life will be influenced forever,” said Winstrom. “As a community, we have to do everything and do everything we can to change the culture that puts these weapons in the hands of our children. Although it does not take away the pain for Myasia's relatives, we can work together to save other families from a similar loss.”
