The Steve Miller band unexpectedly canceled its North American tour on Wednesday, citing risky weather patterns.

The tour, which was supposed to start on August 15 in New York, had planned 31 data and was expected to be wrapped in Anaheim, California on November 8.

“Dear Steve Miller Band fans, you make music with your instincts. You live your life according to your instincts. Always trust your instincts,” the band said in an Instagram post. “The Steve Miller band canceled all of our upcoming tour dates.”

“The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable floods, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires make these risks for you our audience, the band and the crew unacceptable.”

They added: “So … you can blame the weather … the tour is canceled.”

Representatives of the group did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request.

“I don't know where, don't know when … we hope to see them all again,” wrote the band before he signed up.

A message was also shared to the fans on the band's website, and 2025 Touring data were removed.

While some fans commented that they felt happy to see Miller (81), “play live for so long”, other fans questioned the cancellation.

“This seems to be a strange reason to cancel a tour,” wrote one user while another commented: “The weather was the weather since the existence of the earth. What is the real story?”

“Dear Ya Steve, but that's pretty strange. Somehow it can do all other bands. Maybe tour in winter?” A fan wondered.

A fan found a moment to laugh with the band's song titles and wrote: “Come on Steve, take the money and run. Be not a joker!”

“If it is safer to go out again, I will be happy to see you. Be good in the meantime,” added a committed fan.

The classic rock band was founded in California at the end of the 1960s and is known for a wide range of hits, including “The Joker”, “Take The Money and Run”, “Rock'n Me” and “Fly Like and Eagle”.
