Crime victims organize anti-violence retreat | All County

Lima, Ohio (Wlio) – Students from all County spend the week to build skills in order to create a non -violent community.

The second annual anti-violence-teen retreat, which was organized by crime victim services, gave middle and high schools the opportunity to learn healthy relationships through leadership, self-care and maintenance.
The program has almost doubled since last year.

“So much in our community happens in our country that they are unsure and unhealthy for children. We have seen this need in our schools and communities where children only want a place that is safe for them. Prevention for victim services for crime.

The organizers say that the event would not have been possible without the support of local companies that would have donated all week over meals.
The goal is that students use what they have learned in their schools and neighborhoods all year round.
