Manitou Springs, Colorado (KKTV) – from 2:03 p.m. on Thursday, a flood guard for the city of Manitou Springs was in force.

City officials stated that the clock would remain in force until 8 p.m.

Strong precipitation and thunderstorms are possible during the day, and city officials said that drainage systems such as Fountain Creek could rise quickly.

According to city officials, floods could affect local paths, underpass and areas near streams or storm sequences.
