Unsiccected residential building in Oakland is on fire

Firefighters in Oakland will react to a residential building in the 9th and Madison Street on Wednesday.

According to an official from the Oakland fire brigade, the fire broke out in a four -story residential building. The two-alarm fire in the Chinatown area broke out around 10 p.m.

The video from the scene shows flames that flow out of the roof of a residential building.

Firefighters seem to get the upper hand.

Firefighters said this place had had earlier fires in recent years. One started when a garbage container shone on fire and then spread to the building.

A KTVU crew arrived at the crime scene, where we saw an aggressive attack in the works, which affects several air leaders.

There were concerns that neighboring buildings that are occupied would catch fire. People gathered outside to watch, but some were really worried that the fire would spread.

The neighbors said they heard the fire alarms out of the way and saw two people ran out of the scene.

It is not clear how the fire started. The building is located opposite Wilma Chan Park and near Lake Merritt Bart's train station.

There are no reports on injuries.

We will update this developing story while we learn the latest details.
